The Question :: Dec 6, 08:51 PM
When asked the question, some will respond,
with a gaze of such strength that replies
better than their words could ever have.
For a while, the rest will think and frown,
some will answer I don’t know, not now,
some will answer no, this I’ll never know.
And no one can be told the answer,
for it is more unique than a name,
and changes with the winds of time.
It drives some to ponder endlessly,
until they degrade into nothing.
until all is triviality.
Others, many, seek not the answer,
living better than those who have sought,
wanting only to go as they have.
And some of these, not many, will see
a shining answer that will show them
a path to change the world forever.
And most will be unknown to the world,
people of grace lost amidst a sea,
saving humanity from its faults.
It is harder to seek than to find,
the answer to the common question
of all mankind.
